Delicious, home made style food is the order of the night at the Rapid Journey Bistro which is open every night we race.
It may have only been in operation since 2014 but the Richmond Riches Puppy Auction has quickly asserted itself as the premier Greyhound Puppy Auction in the southern hemisphere.
In 2014, the Auction grossed more than $1.4m in sales and the graduates of the Auction competed in a three week race series at the Richmond Riches Puppy Classic held in May 2016 at the Richmond Race Club with the eventual winner, Thirty Talks, claiming a $100,000 first prize cheque.
Subsequent to the 535m race series, the 400m and 618m 2016 Puppy Auction Race series have now been run and won and we congratulate Tommy The Weapon (Neville Brown) for taking out the middle distance event and Lowanna's Son (Sharron Webster) who claimed the sprint series.

In the 2017 Richmond Riches Race Series, it was deja vu, as the top lot from the 2015 Puppy Auction, Mister Twister ($21,000) scored an emphatic victory off the inside draw for trainer Jason Mackay and the Tiger Seven Syndicate. To see his win, click here
Following the tumultuous events of 2016, with the NSW Government proposing to ban greyhound racing In NSW and then subsequently reversing their decision, the Richmond Race Club were left with no option other than to postpone the Richmond Riches Puppy Auction for that year with a once-off Race Series to be held in May 2018 for pups that would have been eligible for that Auction.
But in 2017 we are back!!!
The Richmond Riches Puppy Auction will be held on Sunday, November 26 and for all details, simply click here to go to the Richmond Puppy Auction website.
