Race Day
Richmond Race Club conducts greyhound racing Saturday evenings throughout the entire season and on 28 Wednesday twilight meetings.
There is a veterinary service available at race meetings. The kennel block is air conditioned and the kennels are single tier.

Nominations
Nominations for Saturday meetings close at 9.00am on the Wednesday prior. Nominations for Wednesday meetings close at 9.00am on the Friday prior and nominations for qualifying trials close at 9.00am on the Thursday prior.

Trialing Information
Tuesday mornings: From April 3rd 2010
Private trials 9.00am to 1030am (tickets must be purchased by 10.30am)
Tuesday evenings:
Trials commence at 6.30pm (tickets must be purchased by 6.30pm)
Wednesday mornings:
Arm trials. By appointment only (bookings to be made by 3.00pm Tuesday)
Sunday mornings:
Trials commence at 9.00am (tickets must be purchased by 9.00am)

Where space is available during the Arm Trial Session, ordinary trials can be booked at $11 per greyhound.  
These bookings will ONLY be taken between 2.00pm and 3.00pm on Tuesdays.
COSTS:
Solo Trials - $11.00 per dog.
Post to Post - $11.00 per dog.
Hand Slips - $11.00 per dog.
4 dog field trial - $5.50 per dog
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Richmond greyhound track is situated at Londonderry which is between Richmond and Penrith and approximately 60 km from Sydney.
Car parking is available inside the grounds.
There are no camping facilities for travelling trainers, but limited kennels are available for greyhounds.
The track has a sand surface and a cable lure system is installed.
Bookmakers operate at this venue and there are full totalisator facilities working.
Races are shown on Sky Channel.
There are video replays of all races and videos are available to those owner/trainers requiring same.
DRESS STANDARDS FOR PARTICIPANTS AT RACE MEETINGS
CLOTHING:
Long black or dark blue pants/slacks
No jeans, tracksuit pants or shorts permitted
Collared shirt or collared polo
No singlets or t-shirts

FOOTWEAR:
Black or dark shoes, boots or gumboots
No joggers, high heeled shoes, thongs or sandals permitted.

HEADWEAR:
No beanies or hats without a brim
Caps must be worn with peak at the front
